Based in Crieff in Perthshire and specialising in protected mammal species surveys, Jenny is a NatureScot licensed bat surveyor (including BLIMP licensing) and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM). She also holds a NatureScot red squirrel licence and has worked as an agent under numerous otter and badger licences for individual site projects across Scotland.

Jenny specialises in bat survey work but she also provides a range of other ecological services, from individual building and tree surveys to pre-construction impact assessments for larger scale developments. Her experience over the last fifteen years extends to involvement in a number of high profile renewables, road and rail network projects across Scotland as well as small-scale housing and renovation schemes. Most recently, Jenny’s work has focused on ecological assessments on the road network. Primarily in the form of pre-felling tree surveys and specialist bridge and rock slope assessments for bats.
